Autism Assessment
Have you ever considered an Autism Assessment? Psychological assessment plays a very important role in diagnosing and assisting with Autism in adults and children.
Our Assessment Process
At Scope, we have a four-stage psychological assessment process: Intake, Assessment, Feedback and Report Writing. With each assessment you will receive a comprehensive report including practical, evidence-based recommendations, a feedback session that deconstructs the assessment and report in an easily understandable format, and ongoing guidance for next steps.
We provide comprehensive psychological assessment and diagnosis for:
- Specific Learning Disorders such as Dyslexia and Dyscalculia
- Intellectual Impairment
- Giftedness
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Executive function difficulties
- Nonverbal Learning Disorder
- Oppositional Defiant Disorder/Conduct Disorder
When do I book an assessment?
You can be referred for assessment by your General Practitioner (GP), Psychiatrist, Paediatrician, allied health professional or an educational professional. However, you do not need a referral to access our educational psychology services. Sometimes intuition or self-awareness is the most accurate predictor of academic, social or practical difficulties.
