Living abroad can be hard for international students and expats. This is because cultural adjustment and isolation can be an issue when moving. In addition, there are the normal mental health hurdles that come with everyday life. It’s thus important that therapy can be sought out easily.
Scope Psychology Services Australia offers therapy for all international students and expats because of these reasons. Whether that be Australians living abroad, or internationals that have come to Australia. As a matter of fact, one of our psychologists, Martina Vignando is actually a former expat herself. She truly understands the struggles of adjustment and isolation that come with living abroad. What’s more, Martina has just opened her books. As a result you can get access to online psychology and therapy right now!
Our psychologists are trained to deliver the same high quality experience over telehealth that you would receive in person. Martina Vignando’s services in particular offer someone who is aware of the adjustments you are going through.

Do international students and expats need a referral for therapy?
No. Anyone can book and see our psychologists right away. But, a referral from your GP under a mental health care plan will let you get Medicare rebates. As for the sessions, you can expect the same quality of service that you would get in person.
