What are you passionate about?
“It’s my passion to provide the best practice, evidence-based therapy interventions to maximise the wellbeing and life satisfaction of my individual clients. I have a great respect for each client’s openness and courage as they proactively work through their concerns. I always invite open and honest feedback during therapy to ensure that each of my clients is satisfied with the direction of their sessions.”
What experience do you have?
“Throughout my career, I’ve progressed as a psychology supervisor, trainer and researcher through varying levels of management, up to a senior leader role where I managed many psychologists working in schools. Within a large organisation, I led processes and policies for recruitment, induction, performance management, professional learning, critical incident response, and staff and student wellbeing.
I am trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and Schema Therapy, in addition to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I’m also a Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor for psychologists at various stages of their career.”
What do you do for your own wellbeing?
“When I’m not working, I love to find ways to get into nature through hikes and picnics. I love going to yoga and pilates classes, and spending time with family, friends and pets.I also enjoy travelling all over the word, with one of the many highlights, walking the Camino.”
