Renee Harrington

Student Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS)
Renee believes in building positive relationships. She is a registered teacher and Provisional Psychologist. Renee is also an accredited Circle of Security facilitator and a Secret Agent Society facilitator. With years of experience supporting students from Prep to Year 12 and youth-at-risk, she has professional strengths in supporting clients to overcome social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. She is described as dedicated, passionate and nurturing.
Renee provides psychological therapy for:
- Enhancing parent-child communication and relationships
- Responding to challenging behaviours
- Social skill development for people with Autism
Renee provides diagnostic assessment for:
- Specific learning disorders in reading, writing and mathematics (including dyslexia)
Renee also provides neurodiversity screening for people aged 8 to 17 years.
Renee is provisionally registered with the Psychology Board of Australia. This means that she is ineligible for a Medicare Provider Number. Therefore, Medicare rebates cannot be claimed for services provided at the clinic. However, all private sessions are eligible for private health rebates and all NDIS services are eligible for funding under the therapeutic supports category.
